OH WHAT SORROW!
My precious master and friend was crucified – a criminal’s death.
He was so brave, in all His pain, he cried out for our forgiveness!
We came to anoint His broken body – to honour His remains,
But He was not in the tomb! O my Lord, what have they done to You?
But wait, the gardener is here –
‘Where have you put my master?’
Then His voice, ‘Mary’, and mine, ‘Rabonni.’
All is well, He that was dead is risen,
Hallelujah!
